That teacher was very supportive of her students no matter who they were "pullin'" for...NOT! I guess that is my concern as well. I am not so much worried about what he will say, for I am sure it will be fairly harmless. But I am worried about my child becoming another Cathy...again. It wasn't easy for my daughter last year as her little friends excluded her for not supporting Barak Obama. And the teacher didn't really help much either by saying that since she was supporting Obama since she was for education. I also work in education, and have faced similar snide remarks from my collegues, but I consider myself a Christian before being an educator,as does my daughter. I have always been told that as educators we are to remain as neutral in our political expression as we are in religious expression before our students. I never would have dreamed of wearing a political button in the classroom. But over the years I have come to throw off the notion of neutrality as I see it is a one way street. I am the only one who is expected to remain neutral. My daughter and I were very relieved to have the election of 2008 be over and done with. No such luck I guess. Nice! I was just at their home today and look at his pictures on the wall and I could not stop crying and smiling at the same time. And I can tell you his spirit is very much looking over his two sisters, his Mom and his Step Father Joe, who raised Justin. I'll probably look into buying a truck from a company located in a "right to work state". No hidden UNION health and pension benefits in the price, such as Chrysler , GM , Ford. Toyota may have what I'm looking for. Oh ya, I'll be paying with all cash, and I know I'll get the best deal around even if I have to travel to one of the many right to work states to buy it, like Oklahoma where the Good O'l Boys care about America and you sell us out across the world.
